How to Lose Weight Fast While Having Fun

Yes, you are reading right. The journey to weight loss can be lots of fun and if this sounds good to you please read on.

I have always been very slim both as a child and as an adult until I had my second child. I don't know about you but I never stopped when I was a child. I lived by the sea side and our house was so close to the beach that my mum only had to call me in through the window whenever lunch or dinner was ready. I spent most of my time playing with other kids on the beach, running around, playing games, etc. Just having lots of fun...

I was always tanned although I didn't sunbathe and I was so skinny you could count my ribs! I guess that when we grow up everything changes and we forget how easy it is to keep fit just by having fun and not giving it too much thought. When I grew up, I continued with a similar lifestyle where I was always busy going to places, playing sports (I used to love playing beach tennis), and swimming in the sea with my friends... Not just swimming, we used to do all sorts of silly things in the water, like somersaults underwater and things like that.

How could I not be so slim? Of course I was! I was constantly active and thinking what was I going to do next? I was also hungry all the time so I used to eat several times a day and I loved nuts so they were a big part of my daily food intake. I had the perfect diet I think but I will leave that to another article...

This is what we need to remember. I am not suggesting that everyone should look at when they were a child or a young adult in order to see how to lose weight now but in my experience there is no better and faster way to lose weight than to have fun whilst doing it. You have to agree, if you're doing something you enjoy, you will do it more often and for longer. For example, I hate running, especially if I have any wobbly bits to get rid of. Isn't it horrible to go jogging and feel everything in your body going up and down as you run? Lol

On the other hand, I love playing tennis and dancing. So much that although I know my wobbly bits must be going up and down I never think about it when I'm playing or dancing. I wouldn't care anyway as I would be having too much fun to be bothered.

Can you remember what you used to love doing when you were younger? Maybe climbing trees is not the best for you to do now but there are climbing centres if that is what you fancy! Or perhaps you enjoyed playing football. If so, you can try and join a local team or play with your kids. Dancing is also a great way to get fit whilst having fun and if you're single you can join a club and who knows if you'll meet your other half in there?

So, go ahead. Put your thinking caps on and find what type of activity used to take your fancy when you were younger and give it a go.

I promise there is no better and faster way to lose unwanted weight and keep you happy at the same time. Good luck!!

Teens! - Do You Really Need to Lose Weight?

This question may seem like a no-brainer to you, but not everyone needs to lose weight. Too often, teens focus on unhealthy weight levels to get a better perception of an ideal body.

They get caught up in unhealthy eating practices, even to the extent of eating and barfing so that they may either lose weight or remain slim. There are names for these types of practices such as "Yo-Yo" dieting or "Eating Disorders".

With the many major advances in visual media marketing through medians like the TV, internet, movies and hollywood it is easy to see why teens have distorted views of what their bodies should look like. Many try to mold their bodies to have the look of celebrities who are often known for how they look rather than what they have accomplished. Teens need to recognize that not all body structure and shapes are the same.

It is important for teenagers to understand what should be their ideal weights and how these weights are calculated. They need to understand and follow the procedures and steps which should be applied before considering any weight loss program.

The Real Issue Here is: "Whether Teens Really Need to Lose Weight?"

Teens need to COMPARE their present weights AGAINST the norms for their Respective Heights, Body Weights, Body Mass and Body Frame sizes to determine whether weight loss is necessary, or not. They should consult their doctor or dietary physician before implementing a program to lose weight, then follow their advice. The failure to follow this advice may lead to unhealthy weight loss and increase the risk of disease.

Before you decide on a diet or weight loss program, you owe to yourself to make the time and take the effort to determine whether need to lose weight or if your body image perception is distorted or not.

For Many Teens Weight Loss is NOT a Necessity, but a DISTORTED Fantasy or Perception which NEEDS to be Validated.

However, if it determined that you need to lose weight, you should consider using diet supplement pills, in addition to physical exercise and a healthy diet, as an added boost. A supplement that is 100% pure and natural, which will provide you with the help you need to curb hunger pangs, boost energy and provide better concentration like Proactol Pill.

Are you happy with your body and how you look? Do you want to improve your body shape? If you are not happy, then go to Official Weight Loss Guide and find out how you can get better image and perception, a New and Improved you.

How To Eat Everything and Lose Weight

When people want to lose weight they start thinking in terms of calories. They start thinking in terms of good and bad food, what's healthy and unhealthy, and make a firm commitment to restrict their caloric intake and avoid all donuts, cupcakes, cookies and such forever more. Usually, they manage to adhere to this new diet for about a month or two, and then they slip and slide their way back to where they started, disheartened, upset at themselves and having gained nothing for all their effort. Is there a better way to approach losing weight when it comes to food? A more natural method of eating so that you lose weight but don't suffer this inevitable yo-yoing of weight gain and loss? Sure there is. All it takes is for you to approach your food as a foodie, and not a dieter.

A dieter is somebody who looks at the world of food in terms of calories. They think in terms of what's good to eat and what's bad to eat, and then spend all day thinking about the items in the 'bad' category. Eventually, when they slip up, they don't eat just one cookie, but it's as if the flood waters have burst and they need to have 10. Not only that, but counting calories is boring, takes effort, and is often inaccurate regardless.

A foodie is somebody who looks at food in terms of nutritional benefit. Somethings have high nutritional benefit, such as broccoli and blueberries; others are low in nutritional benefit such a cookies and full fat cheese. There is no bad or good food, just food of different nutritional value. Once that fundamental shift in perspective has been made, you begin to approach your diet in a different manner.

For example, say you're at a dinner party and you know that Tiramisu is going to be served for dessert. You would like to eat some, but you know that it has low nutritional value. What you do is eat a lot of nutritionally dense food during the main meal-plenty of veggies, etc-and then when the Tiramisu is served, ask for a very tiny slice. No more than three or four bites. The upshot is that you get to taste the Tiramisu, but don't eat a ton of it. Not only that, but if you do this frequently, you will never 'snap' and eat the entire cake. Further, you will be always balancing out small amounts of nutritiously low foods with large amounts of nutritiously dense foods, ensuring that you get everything you need. You then ensure that you are eating less overall than you should be, and voila-you're losing weight in a healthy and sustainable way.
